WHY CHOOSE US

THE STANDARD

HAS BEEN LOW.

WE'RE CHANGING IT.

Commercial diving in the Southeast is often handled by out-of-state contractors with high mobilization costs and generic deliverables. Local competitors rely on traditional practices, dated reporting, and limited transparency.

Stewart's Marine was built from the ground up to change that — leveraging engineering-firm precision, global vessel data and tracking, with transparent pricing to give clients something they've never had before: a diving contractor you can trust for professional, transparent operations.

How we work

THE METAL WORKS PROCESS

Every ship husbandry job follows a precise 9-step sequence. No improvisation. No shortcuts. Documentation and video at every stage — delivered to the client at completion.

STEP 1

VESSEL CONTACT & CLEARANCE

Establish contact with the chief engineer. Confirm LOTO clearance and safe-to-dive authorization. Moor the dive boat to the bow of the vessel.

STEP 2

TRANSDUCER SERVICE

Diver 1 enters water at bow position to service, clean, and inspect all transducers and electronic hull equipment.

STEP 3

SEA CHEST INSPECTION

Diver 1 inspects, cleans, and documents the condition of all sea chests with video record and written notes.

STEP 4

DIVER ASSESSMENT

Diver 1 egresses. Full post-dive assessment conducted. Boat repositioned to stern of vessel to prepare for propeller work.

STEP 5

PROPELLER POLISH

Divers 2 and 3 enter. Full inspection, cleaning, and polishing of the propeller assembly. Efficiency-focused — fuel savings begin immediately.

STEP 6

VIDEO DOCUMENTATION

Diver 3 performs a complete video inspection pass of the finished service. All completed work captured on record.

STEP 7

FINAL EGRESS & ASSESSMENT

All divers egress and receive post-dive health assessments. Supervisor confirms full operational completion.

STEP 8

CHIEF ENGINEER HANDOFF

Chief engineer is notified of completion. All findings, conditions, and work performed are verbally reported. Ship returned to full operational status.

STEP 9

WRITTEN REPORT DELIVERY

Full written report and video documentation package delivered to the client. Complete record for engineering, insurance, and compliance purposes.

COMPLETED WHILE IN PORT

The Metal Works package is designed to be completed in under one day — while your vessel is actively unloading cargo. Zero schedule impact. Increased propulsion efficiency from the moment you depart.

WHO WE ARE

TRISTIN A. STEWART

OWNER & DIVE SUPERVISOR

With over a decade working commercial diving operations across the United States — from emergency Navy vessel repair to bridge inspections for multiple state governments to ship husbandry on commercial cargo fleets in California.

I’ve led advanced diving operations, including mixed gas work, hyperbaric chamber procedures, underwater welding and burning, and penetration diving.

Stewart's Marine was built because I've worked alongside the competition and seen the gap firsthand — outdated reporting, inflated costs, and a lack of transparency that clients deserve better than. This company is built to close that gap.
